Rainy Portrait Session
Have you ever had an idea stuck in your head for so long, but didn’t know how it’d turn out? It happens to me too often. This time though, Sarah had this image, inspired by mary.kate.murphy on IG on her mind for MONTHS. (If you don’t know who Sarah is, we went to Arcadia together and were the only photo majors - we’d either be enemies or best friends. Luckily the latter is what came to be, and now we do photoshoots together all the time.)
We could never find the right time to recreate this photo of a girl smoking, sitting on a chair. Then one foggy day Sarah went on a walk, took some cool pics, showed me, and lucky for us it was going to be foggy the next day too, and we both had off work. We drove around the Philly area hoping inspiration would strike, but nothing was happening. So we said f—k it, lets go to a thrift store and buy the dang chair. We found the perfect green chair, and then took it to Benjamin Rush state park. We set it in the field, and let the magic begin.
